Bold Shops LLC is building the Frederick territory for The Movement. We're looking for driven, self-directed professionals who want uncapped earning potential and the freedom to own their results.

Account Executive — Territory Assistant

This is a full-cycle sales role for someone who knows how to walk into a business, build rapport fast, and close a deal.

What You'll Do

You will work a warm pipeline of local Frederick merchants who have already been introduced to The Movement platform. Your job is to close them — whether on our free program or our premium exclusivity offering — and handle on-site activation from start to finish. You'll also canvas surrounding businesses on every visit to develop new leads and grow your pipeline independently.

Work a warm pipeline — no cold starting from zero on day one

Full-cycle ownership — canvas, pitch, close, and activate

On-site activation — place signage, confirm details, document the setup

Flexible schedule — you set your own hours and pace

CRM tracking — log all contacts and activity in our system

Daily optional huddle — brief team check-in to share wins and flag blockers

Who We're Looking For

This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who has been in the field, handled objections, and closed deals. If commission-only makes you nervous, this isn't the right fit. If it makes you lean forward — keep reading.

Prior B2B sales experience — insurance, merchant services, door-to-door, or similar

Comfortable going cold — you can walk into any business without hesitation

Self-directed — you manage your own pipeline and don't need micromanaging

Motivated by upside — you'd rather have no ceiling than a guaranteed wage

Professional and trustworthy — you'll handle sensitive merchant information

Frederick area familiarity — a plus but not required

Compensation

This is a 100% commission independent contractor role. There is no base pay and no ceiling. Your income is entirely in your hands. Full compensation details are provided during the interview process.

I grew up in Northern Virginia and fell in love with Frederick in my early twenties while living in Loudoun County. Back then it was a place I'd drive to on weekends — the food, the people, the community energy. Today I have the privilege of actually calling Frederick County home, just ten minutes from downtown, and that love has only deepened.

My professional background spans over 15 years in corporate business leadership — from customer experience and service management all the way to senior leadership over a national service organization at a Fortune 80 company, and then into product management at the global level. I've spent my career finding gaps, building systems, and developing people.

But the thread that runs through everything is small business. It started in Loudoun County, where I worked for the exclusive event company of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. That's where I first saw what small businesses mean to a community — the networking, the relationships, the way a local owner pours everything into something they believe in. It never left me.

The Movement is the perfect marriage of that passion. I get to bring students to local merchants and help those businesses grow — while giving students real value in return. It's a genuine win on both sides. That's why I'm here, and that's why I'm building this territory the right way.
